This Digital research was conducted using a variety of primary sources, mostly involving the NRA, and also having to read and research past gun laws and news articles. It was difficult to keep neutral and find articles which just stated facts instead of trying to persuade readers to their point of view.
My Background: I am a GMU student majoring in history, and I chose this topic not only because it is a hot topic for today’s society, but because I wanted to research a subject that I could relate to and surprise myself with the findings. The class itself opened me up to new ways of online research which I thoroughly enjoyed, and the final project allowed me to practice what I have been taught through the semester.
